Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame

Objective
To create a logo and branding for the 30th anniversary of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St.Marys Ontario.
Process
For this design I really wanted to feature baseball because St.Marys is a baseball town.
I thought doing the white text and base for the logo made it look nice and crisp against the red.
For the quote I wanted something that everyone could understand and I thought “Hit a Home Run to The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum” was perfect.
For the background I went with a simple background of low opacity, and thought the baseball player and ball would stand out with a slight opacity to them.
